Who can be a Member?
* The membership of the society is open to all Ex-students of 1983 Batch of Capital High School, Bhubaneswar. The affair of the society shall be managed by a Governing Body which shall consist of 9 members comprising of a President, a Vice-President, a General Secretary, 2 Joint Secretary, a Treasurer and 3 advisors.
Type of Membership
1. Life Member.
* A general member who makes a onetime contribution of Life Membership fee as prescribed and amended by the CHS 83 WELAFRE SOCIETY from time to time can become a life Member. Life Members will have voting rights.
2. General Member(Only 1983 Batch 10 th Pass out Capital High School).
* All those who pass out H.S.C. examination in the year 1983 from Capital High School, Unit-III, and Bhubaneswar are eligible to be a General member. A General Member has to pay the Annual Subscription fee prescribed and amended from time to time by the CHS 83 WELAFRE SOCIETY and all General members will have the Voting Rights. The General members will be the “Apex Body” of CHS 83 WELAFRE SOCIETY.
3. Associate Member (Eminent Persons)
* All present and past Headmasters and Teachers of Capital High School and any alumni of Capital High School of Unit-III, Bhubaneswar can be the Associate Members of the Association. Associate Members are not required to pay any membership fee. However, associate members will have no voting rights and will not be considered in the decision making process.
SUBSCRIPTION AND FEES
i. At the time of enrolment as a Member (General or Life) an enrolment fees of Rs. 200/-
(Rupees two hundred only) shall be payable by the applicant as a onetime measure
towards enrolment charges.
ii. The Annual Membership Fee shall be Rs. 600/- (Rupees five hundred only) per year.
iii. The Life Membership Fee shall be Rs. 6,000/- (Rupees five thousand only) onetime
payment at the time of applying for the Life Membership.
iv. The Membership Fee (General or Life) is payable by 30 th April every year and is payable
in advance i.e. for a prospective period.
